Clark Rubber customers can choose from a range of different shaped and sized pools plus pumps, filters, chemicals and pool accessories. We also offer pool water testing, and Clark Rubber franchisees operate a pool van from their stores, providing customers with an onsite pool care service.

Clark Rubber is the largest retail supplier of cut foam in Australia, and offers an in-store foam cutting service. Rubber is also a huge part of our business and we carry one of Australia?s largest retail selections of rubber products.

We also work closely with all Clark Rubber franchisees to develop and execute effective local area marketing activities that support our national campaigns at a local store level.

We?re with you every step of the way, whether you are taking over an existing store or starting up in a new location. We provide support in the areas of site selection, lease negotiation, store development and in-store merchandising.

Clark Rubber franchisees and their staff benefit from a comprehensive initial and ongoing training program. Covering product knowledge, customer service, retail operational and compliance topics, training is delivered through a combination of individual, group and online programs.

Clark Rubber also provides franchisees with the IT infrastructure required to manage every aspect of their business including, stock control, POS, financial reporting and benchmarking. Our IT help desk is on hand to assist any system related issues.

National strength local support

In addition to the extensive national support team, all Clark Rubber franchisees benefit from the ongoing relationship with a dedicated Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Managers spend the majority of their time in stores, working with franchisees to achieve their goals and provide regular feedback on all aspects of store performance.

Their primary focus is to identify opportunities for franchisees to grow sales and improve profitability. Franchisees also have access to our team of qualified retail accountants, who work to ensure that stores? administration, stock control systems and back office procedures are operating effectively and efficiently.

  • What are the different business opportunities that are available?

    We offer new franchisees a number of different business opportunities. Large Format Clark Rubber stores - from $510,000, Small Format Clark Rubber stores - from $420,000, Clark Pool & Spa stores - from $147,500, and Clark Pool Care pool service vans - from $49,500. Talk to us about which business opportunity suits your requirements.

    What do I get for my initial franchise fee?

    You will receive 3 weeks comprehensive training, shop fittings and fixtures design, floor plan, assistance with shop set up including merchandising and, ongoing support and business development by qualified field staff.

    Are there any ongoing fees?

    Yes. Every franchisee pays monthly royalty fees and contributes to co-operative funds such as the marketing fund. All one-off and ongoing fees will be disclosed to you in detail.

  • Do I have to own the commercial real estate?

    No. Clark Rubber will assist you with site selection and the lease negotiation process. You will hold the lease.

    Do I have to source my own products?

    No. You will have access to Clark Rubber accredited suppliers.

    How often do I meet my Franchisor?

    Our qualified and trained Regional Sales Managers support you all the way. You will have daily contact with them over the phone and through store visits. Further, we meet several times a year at State meetings and at the annual National Conference.

    Can I sell my business at any time?

    Yes. Clark Rubber will assist you with the marketing of selling your business and provide you with assistance to prepare your business for sale
