What happens if my barrier is deemed non-compliant?

If your swimming pool or spa barrier does not meet safety guidelines and you do not complete rectification works to meet Victorian law, your local council will issue you with a certificate of barrier non-compliance and request a fee upwards of $385 depending on which council you reside in.
