It adds extra cushioning underfoot, protects and insulates floors, and can make vacuuming simpler. It is also suitable for use under mattresses to prevent movement, commonly used in hotels. Works well as a rug underlay to prevent the rug slipping on the floor. It also increases the softness of the rug. This product is considerably cheaper than buying rug underlay from the rug outlets! Simply cut it to size.
