The Viron V-Series is available in four models - 18, 25, 35 and 45 grams/hour chlorine output to automatically sanitise residential pools from 50,000 to 170,000 litres* (refer to climate information provided below). Automatic chlorine generation:
With a Viron Salt Water Chlorinator, there’s no need to manually dose your pool with granular or liquid chlorine. You can simply “set and forget” your automatic chlorine generator and let it sanitise the pool for you. Salt Water chlorinated pools produce softer-feeling water which many bathers prefer, and they also have the benefits of reducing eye irritation, itchy skin and chlorine odour.

Intelligent self-cleaning cell:
The V-Series self-cleaning, “reverse-polarity” cell minimises your need to monitor and clean the cell to remove any calcium build up on the electrode plates, in turn extending the life of your chlorinator cell.

Easy-to-use touch pad and time clock:
V-Series features a large LCD screen and advanced user interface, which gives you convenient control of filtration cycle settings, clock settings, spa modes and chlorine output settings. Advanced electronic power supply:
The Viron Saltwater Chlorinator's advanced electronic power supply provides pure DC power to maximise the efficiency of the electrodes to produce the highest level of chlorine for the lowest power consumption, reducing the power consumption and keeping the pool safe and healthy. It only uses 200 watts of power when operating.

Filter backwash timing:
Sand filters require regular backwashing to release the entrapped dirt and debris. The Viron Chlorinator has a very smart function that operates the pump for one, two or three minutes, ensuring the filter is backwashed for the correct period and turns off the electrolytic cell, preventing excessive build-up of sanitiser and by-products during the backwash process. This feature also ensures that the pump cannot accidentally be left running and empty the pool, requiring expensive top-up water. Convenient App Controls and Automation integration:
