You don’t have to put up with a messy pool, full of leaves, debris and visits by the local ducks. The ABGAL Pooltex Leaf and Debris Cover is your answer to easier pool maintenance. 

Pooltex is a fully-customised debris cover that is measured and fitted to the exact dimensions and shape of your pool. With a Pooltex cover unwanted leaves and debris will simply sit on top of the cover instead of floating or dropping to the bottom of the pool for you to scoop out. The water is therefore cleaner and has less chance of having an algae bloom. 

If you’re concerned about ducks and other animals getting in, and spoiling your pool, the Pooltex cover also offers a secure barrier to unwanted infiltration.

When in use, this cover is designed to fit right across the entire length and width of your pool to cover it completely and to be secured to the surrounds of the pool with specialised clip fixtures and tie ropes.

Pooltex covers look great and are perfect for the job at hand. Pooltex is a tried and tested material and design that ABGAL have been manufacturing since the 1970’s. 

The ABGAL Pooltex material is a lightweight, but strong mesh material. It is a high quality 180gsm thick USA Woven Denier that is thicker than other brands. These covers are manufactured with reinforced seams for a clean, aesthetically-pleasing finish and the perimeter of the cover has a rope-reinforced hem for strength and long-lasting durability. 

When you’re ready to use your pool again, the Pooltex cover can be easily removed by one person, by loosening the ropes and folding it away with its ropes into its own storage bag. 

Whilst the Pooltex cover is great way to prevent litter getting into your pool, it also cuts evaporation by 50% compared to a pool without a cover. This means you will minimise unwanted water top-ups and help to conserve water and reduce the need for additional chemicals.

Securing the Pooltex Cover:

Your Pooltex cover is supplied with all the fixtures you need to tie it down around its perimeter. The fixtures include: Drill bit, Masonry Plugs, Fixing Pins, Bead-Clips, Tie-down rope. Tie-down ropes require a drilled hole in the pool coping between 15cm to 45cm from the edge of the cover, for the fixing Pins to be located.

Customisation with Pooltex PhotoMeasure Service:

Measuring a pool for a customised Pooltex cover is faster and easier for you with ABGAL’s exclusive PhotoMeasure software. With this unique service, we can arrange an onsite measure of your pool that will capture the exact size and shape, so it fits perfectly.  

To obtain a customised pool cover we need to know the pool width at its widest point and the pool length at its longest point. Once the measurements have been captured with the PhotoMeasure, the shape and pattern of the cover is generated and the cover is custom made to fit your pool shape, even around ladders, rocks, water features and infinity edges.

Quote and installation services:

The Pooltex cover price will be based on the FINISHED cover size not the actual pool size. The FINISHED cover size must include 30cm (300mm) on the overall width and overall length, to account for a 15cm overhang on each side of the cover.

For example, if your pool length is actually 9m long, you will need to add 0.3m (30cm) to the overall length for the overhang. Therefore the FINISHED cover length would be 9.3m for the purposes of quoting.
